The Qur’an is the Book of Allah and a source of guidance, mercy, knowledge, and remembrance for humanity.

Allah says:

“Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright…”

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari, 5027

Through our Qur’an Distribution Program, Barakah Welfare Foundation aims to provide copies of the Holy Qur’an to people and communities where they are genuinely needed. This may include individuals who cannot easily afford their own copy and, where appropriate, students, families, mosques, madrasahs, or other places where copies can be regularly read and studied.

Our purpose is not simply to distribute books. We hope to make the words of Allah more accessible and encourage people to read, learn, understand, teach, and live according to the guidance of the Qur’an.

The Prophet ﷺ taught that when a person dies, his deeds end except for three, including ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) and beneficial knowledge.

A Qur’an placed in the hands of someone who reads and learns from it may continue to bring benefit long after the original donation was made.
