Learning about the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is more than learning history; it is an opportunity to understand the character, mercy, patience, courage, and guidance of the Messenger whom Allah sent as an example for humanity.
Allah says:
“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often.”
— Qur’an 33:21
The Prophet ﷺ also emphasized the importance of seeking beneficial knowledge:
“Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”
— Sahih Muslim, 2699
Through our Seerah Competition for Youth, Barakah Welfare Foundation aims to encourage young people to study the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in an engaging and meaningful way. Participants will learn selected aspects of the Seerah and take part in a question-and-answer competition based on what they have studied.
Our objective is not simply to organize a competition, but to help young Muslims develop love for the Prophet ﷺ, become familiar with his noble character, and understand how his teachings can guide their everyday lives.
By supporting this initiative, you can help us provide educational materials, organize the competition, encourage young learners, and recognize their efforts through appropriate gifts and awards.
Help us inspire a generation that does not merely know the name of the Prophet ﷺ, but learns his Seerah, loves his character, and strives to follow his example.
