The Qur\u2019an is the Book of Allah and a source of guidance, mercy, knowledge, and remembrance for humanity.<\/p>\n
Allah says:<\/p>\n
\u201cIndeed, this Qur\u2019an guides to that which is most upright\u2026\u201d
\n\u2014 Qur\u2019an 17:9<\/p>\n
The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe best among you are those who learn the Qur\u2019an and teach it.\u201d
\n\u2014 Sahih al-Bukhari, 5027<\/p>\n
Through our Qur\u2019an Distribution Program, Barakah Welfare Foundation aims to provide copies of the Holy Qur\u2019an to people and communities where they are genuinely needed. This may include individuals who cannot easily afford their own copy and, where appropriate, students, families, mosques, madrasahs, or other places where copies can be regularly read and studied.<\/p>\n
Our purpose is not simply to distribute books. We hope to make the words of Allah more accessible and encourage people to read, learn, understand, teach, and live according to the guidance of the Qur\u2019an.<\/p>\n
The Prophet \ufdfa taught that when a person dies, his deeds end except for three, including ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) and beneficial knowledge.

A Qur\u2019an placed in the hands of someone who reads and learns from it may continue to bring benefit long after the original donation was made.<\/p>\n
