Safe Water & Deep Tube Well Project: Bringing Relief to Thirsty Hearts
Water is another name for life. But in the vast regions and remote villages of Northern Bangladesh, getting a glass of safe drinking water is still a major struggle for many people. Due to arsenic risks, saline water, and the falling level of underground water, people are forced to drink contaminated water, resulting in the spread of various waterborne diseases.
To address this crisis and protect public health, Barakah Welfare Foundation has undertaken the “Safe Water & Deep Tube Well Project.” Our goal is to provide a source of safe water at the doorsteps of thirsty people, and this is also one of the best opportunities for you to perform Sadaqah Jariyah.
Charity of Water in the Light of Hadith
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) was asked, “Which charity is the best?” He replied:
“Giving water to drink (or arranging water).” (Sunan Abu Dawud: 1679)
Whenever a person, animal, or bird drinks water from the tube well you donate, the reward for that good deed will continue to be added to your book of deeds until the Day of Judgment.
Special Features & Working Process of Our Project
We do not only install tube wells; we also ensure their durability and effectiveness:
Suitable Location Selection: We prioritize the villages and char areas of Northern Bangladesh where the water crisis is most severe.
Deep Tube Well Installation: To ensure long-term water availability, we install deep tube wells using modern deep boring technology, which keeps water flowing even during the dry season.
Arsenic & Iron-Free Water: After installing every tube well, we ensure water purity through laboratory testing.
Maintenance & Monitoring: To keep the tube well functional for a long time, local people are trained and regular monitoring is ensured.
Sadaqah Jariyah Nameplate: On behalf of the donor (or in the name of a person chosen by the donor), a nameplate is attached to every tube well.
One Donation from You Can Save Thousands of Lives
This gift from you is not just a tube well, it is:
A Disease-Free Society: It helps prevent diseases like diarrhea and cholera caused by contaminated water.
Relief for Women: It frees mothers and sisters from the exhausting burden of carrying water from distant places.
Continuous Rewards: This is an ongoing charity whose benefits you and your family will receive in this world and the Hereafter.
Stand Beside the Thirsty Today
By installing a deep tube well in an underprivileged area of Northern Bangladesh, you too can become a part of this noble cause. Your small or large donation will strengthen us in achieving this mission.
“Let us bring a smile to a face dried by the lack of water.”
